Workday Executive Committee (WEC)
The Workday Executive Committee (WEC) is the University’s foremost governance committee for Workday. The committee consists of senior campus leaders representing Finance, Human Resources, Student, and Information Systems. WEC plays a crucial role in prioritizing Workday initiatives and allocating resources to support them.
WEC is committed to the following objectives to ensure that Workday continues to enhance the student, faculty, and staff user experiences and support the University’s mission:

- Setting priorities

- Soliciting input

Responsibilities
- Communicate closely with the university’s executive team.
- Inform other Workday governance committees about priority initiatives needing investigation and/or implementation.
- Review all recommendations and updates submitted by other Workday governance bodies.
- Determine the final priority and sequence of all initiatives escalated above the Workstream Chairs.
- Ensure sufficient team capacity to address top priorities and provide active executive sponsorship of Workday initiatives.
- Maintain and advance the organizational structures and governance model that support Workday.
